When the module get the news which contains this caracters in the title, it remplace them.

Please change back the copyright file and leave intact, as any copyright note from module, blocks and so on[visible or not visible parts].

Until then you will get no further support from me and you are not welcome on this site.

Yes.

It's the function called filtering
there is a line

after that....

You must isolate the bad character and replace it with the ISO-8859-1 french corespondent char.

Don't look for bad characters on your site [? - char], look on the feed source.

But be aware this new rule will aplly to all feed url so be sure that particular character is a bad one.
