Google has a webmasters tool to help better index your site with google and better communication with googles crawlers. http://www.google.com/webmasters/ must have gmail account. Yahoo also has this tool aswell.
Gsitecrawler crawls all links on your page. After done crawling you can remove links(in the "url list" tab), for the sitmap.xml or urllist.txt file it can create.
upload to site, submit to google sitmaps and your done.
What you need is an rss or xml feed for your forums, stories and news. The backend.php that is already made for you will do your stories and news i believe. For your forums i would suggest looking into rdf-nuke. Further help can be found here. http://montegoscripts.com/ftopict-84-.html
A sitemap is basically a list of urls for google to crawl. If you are submitting a sitemap with a link to a url to a multiheadlines category then google will crawl that link(page) whenever it feels like it. You can not tell google what to do or when to do it. You can tell them where to look though. If you do not have your rss feeds permanently stored in your database (set up in MH admin section) then google may index that page, but after those cached feeds are removed(because they are not stored permenantly) then i belive google may still point to that link it has index(showing up in googles search), but the link may be blank. Not a blank page though, just no feeds.
hope this helps.

Thanks John for clarifications but I think I know what is a sitemap, and about the Google/Yahoo webmaster tools.
Most of us knows that stuff.
My question was that I absolutely don't know what Kenny have on his site, what script generates his sitemap/how it works, since he didn't give us any clue about this.
The best thing to do is to search the answer on sitemap generator script author website if there is one or on some forums where you can find users that have used that script.

Kenny what is wrong with you?
You asked on first post of this thread:
Quote:
How do I add all categories to my GoogleSitemap ?
Keep wondering why people who need help don't give the whole "picture". I'm so sick and tired about these types of questions.
If you are really a "developer"[I personally don't believe you are, you souldn't then ask such questions, without substance, if you were] then maybe you know that is impossible to answer to your question having such small amount of info about your problem.
I don't know what you are thinking that's why you have to write properly about your issue. It's simple as that.
Quote:
Aikon I did provide you with an URL to it and I dont need to be directed to those webmaster tools,I already have them and use them but I do use this sitemap instead since it is more powerful
Actualy you didn't provide me anything. You just gave me a link to a shopping cart[perhaps you were just to lazy to give[write] more details], waiting for me to study the mechanism of creating the sitemap instead of working with me on this.
Nobody directed you to those tools. It's as J said these forums it's a good place to "share" what you've learned, not just to ask to incomplete questions. He just had an oppinion on this. What's wrong with that?

...and I was asking how to get the Multiheadlines cat into it.......
Into what? That what is the whole point. If you claim yourself that you are a "developer" then you probably know that a sitemap can be made up by different methods. Are you aware of this?
Maybe here is the whole problem: Actually you don't know what you want or maybe you don't know how to describe your problem!!!

Great no edit option in the forum
What is so great about this? This is my personal option: people shouldn't take back[mostly when they write stupid things] what they have said before.
Quote:
Sorry for asking anything here, wont do it again
No problem, you don't have to be sorry, I forgive you[hope J too].
I have though a free advice: If you don't know how to ask, then don't ask, otherwise you're making yourself a fool.

All we need to know is what you are talking about. I shared a few things with you. If you would have read those then you would know what exactly it is you needed to do or to ask a question about. I was not trying to insult your intelligence, you are doing a great job of that on your own. I dont get upset, so im not mad.
Just tell us what sitemap you are talking about. If its just a general sitemap(created by one of those programs i mentioned) or its a module or where the script is. The only thing i found on that site like aikon said, had nothing to do with google sitemaps. Although i did find at the bottom of their page a link to their sitemap. Which to me is kinda retarded. http://www.osc2nuke.com/google_sitemap.html
Remember this thread is not just your thread other people who search this site may find it and find the information here useful.

...url to the creator is in the post,...
So what do you want?
To make contact with him myself just to ask about the sitemap because you are to lazy to do this?
Again. What is wrong with you?
Why don't you ask him about the sitemap and after you've learned more about it get back here and we'll discuss further about "getting the Multiheadlines into it".
Or is too much for you?

sorry im totally confused as to what you want kenny.
That sitemap is retarded because its a list of links that dont even link! it should be a list of links i can use not a crawler. Use the program i suggested and it will give you all the links you need to create a sitemap. If you want a sitemap that modules can use, google " phpnuke sitemap module". If you dont know what it is you need then just tell us and try to explain. Im lost as to where you are going? first you say how do i get MH in a google sitemap, well that program i suggested will do this for you. Then you want rss or xml feeds for crawlers. I told you where to look.
We can not understand you because you dont know what it is you WANT! If what you want is just to add the url links to the MH into your sitemap.xml file you can either manually add them or you can use the that sitmap program i suggested. Also you can use the links i gave to look for a better one that you like more.
To me this sounds more like spam rather than a genuine question. Dont leave because you are running in circles stay and figure out what it is you need. No one knows everything thats why we have forums.
oh and if that link you posted does have a script to create sitemaps please post a link to that script or what it is you are talking about.
If there is anything else we can help you with please ask. If you dont speak english as your native language then post in your language and we will do our best to translate unless you speak sanskrit i dont think i have that font lol
