Blocks age? What is that? Rephrase please

I mean blocks page in MH admin section, if i try and use the delete function in there nothing happens the button doesnt work.

Quote:
Main menu or main page. You meant main page?
Feeds from main page[first page of MH] can be set on "General Settings"->"Feeds in homepage from category" option.

What i mean is i have one category with two feeds attached but the block only ever shows one of the feeds not a mixture of both of them..... if i refresh one of the feeds it will show wich ever feed i refresh last.

Quote:
Why would you do that? Why would you syndicate to you your own content. MH was designed to take feeds from others and display into your site[or syndicate your own feeds to others]. For what you want there are loads of blocks[google for it] of News module.
However I've noticed the issue but I can't replicate here or elsewhere[I did some tests check this out, you can see the links are ok].

To me it makes more sense to use youe tool to create a feed of my site and then display this in a block on my site rather than installing another block....

i would mind you having a look if you have time? because as you are aware this is also happening on the read more page..

heers chris

Yes it's happening only with Internet Explorer, it's my fault, I'm not using IE at all. I will take care later. For the moment you can open the modules/Multiheadlines/admin/index.php file and at line 1772 replace
Code:
   echo '<div align="center"><a href="'.$admin_file.'.php?op=MHBlock&amp;action=delete&amp;block='.$block["block_id"].'&amp;ok=1"><input type="button" value="'._MH_YES.'"></a>   <a href="'.$admin_file.'.php?op=BlockConfig"><input type="button" value="'._MH_NO.'"></a></div>';

with
Code:
   echo '<div align="center"><a href="'.$admin_file.'.php?op=MHBlock&amp;action=delete&amp;block='.$block["block_id"].'&amp;ok=1">'._MH_YES.'</a>   <a href="'.$admin_file.'.php?op=BlockConfig">'._MH_NO.'</a></div>';

instead buttons you'll have links, that suppose to work.

The feeds are listed in block by time, descendant. So if you have saying 10 feeds selected to be shown in block, you will have only the ten latest feeds, no mather how feeds you have on that category.

thanks a lot that worked like a treat

I have also noticed another bug

if i add my rss feed to a block you can see the example on my site....

if i click a link to an article in the feed i get the following msg

Sorry, such file doesn't exist...

the link it is going to is

http://www.techarticles.co.uk/modules.php?name=Newsfile=articlesid=26

as you can see from the above link its missing two & signs and should look like this

http://www.techarticles.co.uk/modules.php?name=News&file=article&sid=26

the link to the article works from everywhere else even if i manually go to the feed

for some reason if you click on the feed link in the block it removes th & signs and displays the error Sorry, such file doesn't exist...

did you find anything for the above

cheers chris

Basically my response was:
Quote:
I might need to see the code of your site, perhaps is something specific to your php-nuke version, don't know for sure[if you want just let me know].

and yours:

The sentence sounded awquard but I didn't wanted to push you further more about this...Smile
If you think I can take a look there, you have to give me ftp access and when I have some time[hopefully it's something simple] I'll check into. My email is in MH files, at the beginning of each one.
