It seem's that my problem comes from the version of MySQL. In fact my web site use 4.0.25 and that provocate problems with caracters which comes from web site with MySQL 4.1
I can't upgrade MySQL on my web site.
Have you got a idea to make it work perfectly ?

I don't think your problem is related to MySQL.
Maybe this will help understand better the encodings thing.
In that post I said that is a limited solution, because php language has only UTF-8<->ISO-8859-1 transformation function [utf8_decode, utf8_encode], which I used here on this module.
PHP-Nuke doesn't support UTF-8[like CPG-Nuke]. Many sites uses UTF-8 encoding for contents[feeds too] so I guess from there will come the problems.
It would be necessary a class or function for every language[sets of characters] from/to UTF-8 which is out of my hand[for the moment ].
